Abstract:
Currently in Kenya, counselling services are being offered by people who have inadequate training in counselling. Besides, there is a big need for research on counselling issues which can only be undertaken by well trained professional counsellors. Trained professionals are required to provide leadership in the counselling profession, and also to manage counselling services.
